How it works
No technician ever visits. You order, it ships, you point a dish at the sky. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.
Pick your kit and dates
Choose the kit, your start date, and a data plan. The calendar shows real availability, and checkout shows the full price, including the round-trip shipping charge and the refundable deposit, before you pay.
It ships to you
Every kit ships to arrive before your rental starts, to any address in the lower 48, so you have time to unpack and test. Tracking lands on your order page as soon as the label is bought. If your dates are tight, overnight is quoted live at checkout.
Set it up yourself
Put the dish under open sky, plug it in, and join the WiFi network printed on the kit. The Starlink app helps you aim if you want it. That is the whole installation, and it is a ten-minute job the first time.
Use it like home internet
The kit broadcasts its own open WiFi. Signing in takes the last four digits of the phone number on your reservation, or your reservation email, and the sign-in page is then your dashboard: data and days remaining, a one-tap top-up, and extending the trip at the same daily rate when the kit is free after you.
Send it back
The prepaid return label is already with the kit and costs nothing extra. Pack everything back into the reusable bag the way it arrived and drop the bag at any FedEx drop box. When the return scans on its way back, your rental is done and the deposit heads back to your card after inspection.
How the data works
Data is metered, not unlimited, and that is deliberate: you only pay for what the trip needs. You pick a plan at booking sized to what you are doing. If you reach the cap, the open internet pauses but messaging keeps working and the kit's own page stays reachable, so a top-up is one tap. Anything over the allowance is billed after the kit comes back, against the card you booked with, at the per-GB rate shown before you paid. Using the kit outside the United States bills at a different per-GB rate, and the booking widget asks where you will use it so the pricing you see is the pricing you get.
Or pick it up in Denver
Shipping is the lead option here because it serves the whole lower 48, but local pickup in Denver is available too: choose your pickup and return windows at checkout, skip shipping either way, and the address with door instructions comes with your booking confirmation.
About the deposit
Checkout charges a refundable deposit worth half the equipment rental as part of your payment. It is not a hold: when the kit is back and checks out fine, it refunds to the card you booked with. Data overages and damage settle from the deposit first, so if everything goes normally you never think about it again.
