Rental terms
Plain language, because a rental agreement you cannot read is not an agreement you can accept. These terms apply to every booking made on this site.
The agreement
This is a rental. WiFi Without Walls LLC, a Colorado company, owns everything in the kit and rents it to you for the dates you booked. By checking out you accept these terms, and the English version of this page is the version that governs.
The kit stays ours. You are borrowing it, not buying it, and you agree to keep it that way: no lending it out, no subletting it to a third party, and no opening the dish or its electronics.
Booking and payment
You pick the kit, the dates, and a data plan, and the checkout shows the full price before you pay: the daily rate for your dates, the data plan, the round-trip shipping charge, and the refundable deposit. The charge lands when the booking is made.
Rates and availability come from our live booking system at the time you book. The numbers shown at checkout are the numbers that govern your order; a discrepancy on a marketing page is an error on that page, and we will contact you before any additional charge.
Shipping and arrival
We ship to street addresses in the 48 contiguous states. Kits ship to arrive before your rental start date, and the tracking number appears on your order page as soon as the label is bought.
Watch your tracking once it ships. If the carrier shows a problem, contact us right away: a delivery we cannot get to you is a rental we cannot start, and the earlier we know, the more we can do.
In Denver, pickup and return windows at our pickup location are an alternative to shipping, chosen at checkout.
Setup and use
You set the kit up yourself. Place the dish where it can see the sky, use the mounting hardware it shipped with, and follow the included guide. You are responsible for the kit from the moment the carrier delivers it until the return scans back to us.
Use the equipment lawfully and for ordinary personal or business internet. Do not move it to someone else's account, do not resell access to it, and do not take it anywhere the booking did not cover without telling us first.
Data plans and overage
Your booking includes the data plan you chose. Data is metered: when you reach the plan's cap, the open internet pauses, messaging keeps working, and the kit's own page stays reachable so you can top up.
Anything over your plan is billed after the kit comes back, against the card used at checkout, at the per-GB rate shown in the booking flow when you booked. United States and international use bill at different rates, and the rate that applies follows the usage region you declared at booking.
Overage and any other extra charges are settled against your deposit first. If the deposit does not cover them, the remainder is charged to the card on file.
The deposit
Checkout charges a refundable deposit worth 50% of the equipment rental, as part of the payment. It is charged, not held as an authorization.
When the kit comes back complete and in working order, the deposit refunds to the original payment method after inspection. The deposit is the first place we look for data overage, damage, and missing pieces. If those costs exceed the deposit, the remaining balance is charged to the card on file. Any remaining deposit is refunded. Sales tax applies to any amount kept from the deposit.
Return and the deadline
A prepaid return label travels with the kit at no extra cost. Pack everything back into the reusable bag the way it arrived, stick the label on, and hand the bag to the carrier named on the label, or drop it in any FedEx drop box.
Your rental ends when the return label is scanned by the carrier, not when the package leaves your hands. Get it scanned by the last day of your rental. A late fee applies for each full day past that date without a scan, charged as a percentage of your booked daily rate and capped, with the current figures shown in the booking flow. Days carriers are closed, Sundays and federal holidays, are not charged. The fee stops when the carrier scans the label, not when the kit reaches us, so transit time is never billed to you.
Damage and loss
Tell us about damage or failure as soon as it happens. Hardware fails sometimes and we would rather swap a unit than argue about it.
Equipment that comes back damaged beyond normal wear is billed for the repair. Equipment that never comes back is billed at its replacement value, which is the real retail cost of the hardware. Water damage from leaving the dish in a lake is not normal wear.
Changing or ending a booking
You can extend a rental from your order page or the kit's own dashboard, at the same daily rate, while the kit is free after your dates. Contact us to shorten or cancel, and any refund follows what the checkout showed at the time of the change.
We can end a rental early and recall the kit if it is used in a way these terms forbid. In that case the deposit is settled for anything outstanding first and the rest refunds.
Liability
The kit provides internet where satellites can reach it, and no internet service is guaranteed. Outages, congestion, and Starlink's own service changes are outside our control, and the rental covers working equipment, not guaranteed uptime. Do not build anything on this connection that cannot survive an outage.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the rental. We are not liable for missed work, spoiled cargo, or other losses from an internet connection that did not perform.
The rest
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. If one part of it is unenforceable, the rest stands.
